Take a hands-on technical lead role alongside our founding engineer and founders. Build the intelligence and dependable infrastructure that turn conversations and connected business context into useful, permission-aware actions.

What you’ll own

• Design and ship LLM-powered preparation, retrieval, meeting understanding, topic tracking and follow-through workflows.
• Build retrieval and context pipelines with clear provenance, freshness, tenant boundaries and permission checks.
• Develop tool-using agents and integrations with safe execution boundaries, approval steps, retries and audit trails.
• Create evaluation datasets and regression checks for factuality, relevance, extraction quality and task success; monitor behaviour in production.
• Own performance, reliability and cost alongside another experienced engineer: queues, APIs, data models, observability and deployment.
• Turn emerging AI techniques into tested improvements. Choose simpler approaches when they solve the problem better.

What you’ll bring

• Strong software engineering foundations and production experience building AI or data-intensive applications.
• Deep practical understanding of LLM APIs and model selection, structured outputs, retrieval, embeddings, reranking, context management and evaluations.
• Confidence with Python and/or TypeScript, backend services, SQL, cloud infrastructure, automated testing and continuous delivery.
• Experience with security, access control, tenant isolation, prompt-injection defences and the treatment of sensitive business information.
• An ability to balance accuracy, latency and cost, diagnose failures and explain technical trade-offs clearly.
• Useful additional experience: speech/transcription pipelines, real-time collaboration, enterprise connectors, analytics or knowledge graphs.
